OUR EQUIPMENTS: Our on-board intervention is made possible by the pre-shipment of our containers.
Thanks to these, we always have a large supply of products and equipment and it is perfect during Dry Dock because it’s a very important resource to ensure prompt readiness for intervention, becoming a real stock of all our materials.
During navigation, we prefer instead to be more discreet using our metal toolboxes, fast to ship and to move.
Even during the cruise passengers do not notice any trace of our work.
We are able to intervene quickly and without leaving odors or dust,
also thanks to the professional aspiration systems used.
OUR PRODUCTS: The paints we use are carefully chosen depending on the type of painting to be applied and the areas to be painted, to the conditions of the surfaces, to the areas that require greater resistance and are exposed to corrosive agents.
In most cases our choice always land on water-based paints. Why?
Water-based products today represent the evolution of technology and have no qualitatively anything to envy solvent-based products. Resistance to atmospheric agents of some resins is even higher and the emission of harmful substances is minimized. The most appreciated features are the extreme drying speed, which allows more machining cycles in one day and the smell very odorous, making this type of product ideal even for internal use.

WATER AND DRYING PAINTING
The choice of focusing on water-based paints and UV-drying (water or solvent) has long anticipated the growing and current awareness of the environment.
It was born to protect people, who works with paint and who lives in contact with the products on which these paints are applied. A wide range of indoor water paints has been formulated with features that are perfectly comparable to those of a conventional solvent paint. Water paints can be mono and bicomponent.
The first ones are particularly useful for the simplest, practical, and economical uses as they are ready to use, easy to apply and affordable because they do not involve waste.
In fact, the advanced material after processing is reusable. Two-component water paints instead require the addition of a second component, the catalyst.
These are particularly suitable for surface coatings requiring high chemical resistance and surface hardness.
Two-component ICA water paints have been recognized by the European Union thanks to the LIFE program that rewards high technological innovation projects aimed at environmental protection.

OTHER ICA PRODUCTS:
The new ICADECK water-based impregnating agent/top coat is one of the latest generation of water-based coatings for the coating of wooden floors and wooden items (Iroko, Teak, etc.) that are sited outdoors.
ICADECK effectively protects the surface from humidity and helps to maintain the natural coloration of the wood over time. It can be used as an alternative to oil-based products, ensuring excellent color-retention. The frequency with which it is necessary to re-apply the coating depends of the type of sun exposure and the type of atmospheric agents to which the wooden floor/items to be treated are subject.
ICADECK is an NMP-free product. It is available in various shades and can be applied by dipping or brushing.
